Bathgate Vale Lottery

Purpose
The BVA lottery will replace player fees. It will cost each and every registered player £5 every time a Bathgate Vale match is played on a Saturday, £2 of which goes into the lottery prize fund. The BVA lottery will also be open to anyone willing to pay the £5 on any Saturday match day.

How does it work?
Anyone wishing to play the BVA lottery will have to register. They have to select 10 numbers from 1 to 49.

Each Saturday that Bathgate Vale has a match played on we will take the 6 numbers that are drawn on that evening’s national lottery draw and match them against those numbers that the players have selected. It’s just like bingo; if your number is in the draw then you score that number out. The first person(s) to have all their 10 numbers scored out will win the prize fund.

The Prize fund
The prize fund will be £2 from each weekly entry. With 27 registered players this should ensure a sizeable amount each week being made available to the BVA lottery prize fund.

Non-payment
Non-payment in any given Saturday means that that person’s numbers will not be included in the draw i.e. not scored out. Every player who is in the starting eleven or a substitute must pay. All other players have the option to pay or not. Non-payment of course means your numbers will not be included in the draw. If a player becomes 3 weeks in arrears then they will not be available for selection. If a player becomes 6 weeks in arrears then their registration will be cancelled.

Payment
Payment should be made to Paul Gardner or in case of Paul’s absences Alan Bishop. Money can be paid in advance. Detailed records will be kept of payment and results, payment and draw information will be made available here
